My apologies for the initial brief summary, as it appears the final one wasn't saved.
The Peak Foliage was sailed in typical Mendums shifty conditions today, with 30-degree oscillations, especially at the top. The breeze was consistently in the high teens, with occasional lows around 10 and many sustained gusts over 25 and occasional pressure over 30. Multiple capsizes/turtles in each race kept safety and coach boats very busy.
Thanks especially to alumni, Marty Keene and Parker Finklestein who came up from Boston to help out on the water. The coaches, Nick Johnstone from Salve, and NEISA rep Sharon Seymour-Johnson from MMA did yeomans work on the water helping sailors right their turtled boats. Thanks also go to Anna Wiatrowski from MSM and Sharon for lending sailors to help right many boats. There is something to be said for those Maritime sailors.
