SEISA Open Fleet Race Conference Championship

Summary

Saturday, April 18:

Teams arrived to sunny mostly sunny skies and a light but stable Southerly breeze between 4-6 knots. The forecast was not favorable for the day but racing got underway promptly at 10:00am. The first two races were quite shifty. As teams were finishing race 2 the breeze shut down.

We postponed on the water for a little over a half hour before an unexpected Northerly filled. While it proceeded to shift NE and then ENE, the velocity remained stable enough for us to get the remaining races in.

Thank you to all of the teams for their patience today, and congrats to the top two teams for qualifying for the open fleet race national championship next month in St. Pete, FL.

Congrats as well to the Tulane Green Wave on winning the Open Fleet Race Conference Championship.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
