The 2026 MAISA Women’s Team Racing Championship featured 9 teams in a format that called for a round of 9, a round of 6 and a round of 4.
Racing started at 950AM in a moderate NW wind. Racing was close and competitive throughout. The wind started to get shiftier around 2PM with a few races abandoned. With 6 races left in the round racing moved to the river where the breeze was a little better. The final races of the round of 9 finished around 5PM. Cornell is in the lead with an 8-0 record followed by Georgetown at 7-1.

A top 6 and final 4 will be completed tomorrow.
A beautiful day of racing on the Potomac. The wind filled in from the SE around 11AM and the Top 6 round was sailed in the river. Sailing conditions were ideal. Racing was close and competitive in winds 10-12mph winds. After the top 6 was completed we had a short break on land and the Final 4 was sailed in the Lagoon.
