The first race of the day got underway around 10:15AM under cloudy skies, with steady wind of around 9kts. The early afternoon came with a significant wind shift, and conditions became increasingly gusty. During rotation 7A, Princeton encountered an issue with their main sheet block. They were forced to retire from the race, so it is scored as a breakdown. Due to conditions intensifying during the final race of the day, 8B, was shortened to a W2. This adjustment was made out of concern for increased risk of capsizes and length of the rotation.
Racing concluded on Saturday April 18th. Overall, it was a fun day on the water and thank you to the teams that came and competed!
No races were held on Sunday.
