Sunday began with a puffy and shifty breeze out of the northeast at around 12 knots, with gusts reaching 16 knots before gradually settling into the east-northeast. The conditions proved challenging throughout the day, as sailors navigated congested mark roundings and significant changes in both breeze direction and velocity. As racing progressed, however, clear patterns began to emerge among the top-performing teams.
Races were fired off continuously from the days start to finish, allowing both A and B Divisions to complete eight races each well before the final-gun cutoff.
Fairfield University ultimately secured its fourth consecutive victory, driven by consistent finishes in A Division and a strong, resilient performance from B Division after recovering from a first-race DSQ.
