Outlaw Regatta

Summary

Saturday, October 17:

The day started with light breezes shifting south to north, which led to a postponement until 11:00. Races started when a consistent breeze came in from the north and continued to build throughout the day. Competitors had to deal with difficult clocking shifts and puffy conditions. Everyone enjoyed burgers and hanging out on the lawn.

Sunday, October 18:

Sunday started with a strong, shifty breeze coming in from the north. As the day went on, the wind steadily decreased, leading to a long few last races. Shifty and puffy conditions defined the day, as they did the day before. Thank you so much to Western Washington, University of Washington, Portland State, and Oregon State for coming out we really appreciate the turnout. Thank you to Eugene Yacht Club and our volunteer race committee, and thank you to the PCCSC.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
