The initial course was set in the bay for the 420 & Women's ILCA, however steep low frequency waves made sailing hazardous. After a postpone to move the race course from the Bay to behind the breakwater, racing began at 1204. Races 1-5 were run with combined starts in 22-26 kts of wind, waves less than 1 ft. Racing concluded for the day at 1359.
Conditions Sunday were back to "normal" Corpus Christi fall conbditions, with wind 13-15 kts., waves 2 ft., sunny skies and mid 80's temps for water and air. Racing began at 1008, and ended at 1235 with 5 more races completed, for a total of 10 combined start races for the weekend.
