Today, 9 races in A Division (420's) and 8 races in B Division (FJ's) were completed. Divisions will switch fleets for the remainder of the races on Sunday. A couple of protests were filed in the office but due to starvation and dehydration, they will be heard at 9am on Sunday by the coaches. Conditions were magnificent! 1PM start by Halftide Rock with a 6-10 easterly. The breeze slowly went right all day and maxed out around 14knots with some decent chop. All courses were w4's and rotations took place at the dock due to the odd number of teams. There were a couple of recalls today with the help of some outgoing tide. Shout out to the Camels for going above and beyond bringing an additional coach boat. B Division will be the first start at 10:15am Sunday morning. Bring your Oilskins!!
Heard two protests this morning from yesterday's racing. One was disallowed and the other resulted with a DSQ. Many thanks to the NEISA rep Rebecca McElvain for organizing the hearings and to the coaches for serving on the protest committee. No Racing today. Teams were told at 1:30 that racing was cancelled for the day. Just then a little Northerly filled but died as teams left. Again we would Like to thank the Connecticut College Camels for bringing an additional coach boat which allowed all coaches to be on the water.
