The day began under an AP as a light northerly breeze quickly faded to flat calm. A light easterly began to fill around 11:15 and sailors were sent out to the racecourse. Racing began at 12:30 in a shifty 4-6 kt ENE breeze which slowly built to 8-12 kts and locked into steadier direction by the end of the day. Ten races were sailed in combined divisions, with racing ending at 5:30 pm.
No races were sailed today. Continuous squalls were passing through the racing area, some with strong gust fronts. Sailors were held ashore until 12:20 when further racing was canceled for the day due to minimal prospects for improvement. No protests were filed during the regatta and one redress request was heard that resulted in a score adjustment. Congratulations to the Rollins Lady Tars for winning the inaugural SAISA Women’s Top 9 regatta!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
