Sailors were greeted by a cloudy and chilly day by San Diego standards, winds started light and started building into the early afternoon before dying to a light 4-5 knots around the end of the day. Race committee was able to run 6 great races. Thank you to Audra Spokas-Jaros for being PRO, and Alex Bussey, Shayne Bersin, Emma Kalway, Elizaveta Churikov, Andy Sanford, and Jake Horn for being on race committee. UCSD Sports Clubs for supporting us and sending a media team to take photos, videos, and drone footage.
Finally, thank you to everyone for showing up, we hold this regatta every year to honor our alumni Jeff Simon, who passed away from cancer in 2007 shortly after graduating from UCSD. By showing up, and racing, and having a great time you are continuing his memory!
The wind took its time filling in today, but once it did race committee was able to get 3 races in, in signature Mission Bay style the wind was 5-10 knots. Thank you to everyone for helping out, and MBYC for hosting, we hope to see everyone at Frosh/Soph next year!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
