Due to the number of teams participating, this regatta was sailed with A and B division racing together. A division raced in FJs while B division raced in 420s. Teams were scored in their division only despite sailing a combined start and course. The regatta began with light winds and fog which persisted throughout the morning. Regardless, races up to 4B were sailed prior to taking a brief lunch break. Upon returning to the water, some of the fog subsided giving way to stronger, medium winds. The day was finished upon sailing race 10B, completing the round robin. Congratulations to the Old Dominion Monarchs for placing 1st, the Columbia Lions for placing 2nd, and the Maryland Terps for placing 3rd! Thank you to WRSC, UMD Alumni, Deale VFD, and everyone else who gave their time to make this new regatta happen!
