Unfortunately, our wind gods of the Redwood Creek took the day off Saturday, April 4- day one of the Carter Ford PCCSC Open Team Race Champs. 21 races were sailed in what Bryan McDonald called "light breathing." Thanks to our umpire crews, ChUmp, Rob Overton, the aforementioned dude1 and champion, Lachlain McGranahan- who was permitted to umpire by unanimous regatta approval. Hope for better conditions tomorrow.
Today was better, but not until 2:30p. The breeze continued its breathiness and the round of 9 was completed around 2:10p. Fortunately the conditions for the double round of 4 was "champagne," again in the words of the dude 1. Thanks everyone for hard work, patience and typical PCCSC spirit. Always a pleasure running events for the conference.
