Day two of the Southern 5. With a clean slate, teams returned to the Salt Pond and were greeted with dense fog and less than exhilarating breeze. Despite this, RC remained hopeful and sailors left the dock on time. After reaching the upper pond, conditions deteriorated to close to zero breeze with a strong incoming tide. An unexpected light southerly filled in around noontime, and three races were able to be sailed. In the end, it was the RWU Hawks again taking first to bring home the Ewenson Trophy, in memory of Geoff Ewenson (URI ‘94). Northeastern took 2nd place, and URI finished in 3rd.
Well done to all competitors, and a special thank you to the RC support team and UNH coach Diana Weidenbacker for helping with scoring duties.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
