A cool and damp day on the Salt Pond. Sailors arrived to our boathouse amidst torrential downpours and a gusty southerly breeze. RC elected to postpone one hour, allowing a heavy cell to pass with hopes of more stable breeze following behind it. The squalls subsided, and teams left the dock at noon in S winds at 12-18 kts. Four races were completed on a W4 course, with no mark adjustments necessary. Racing proved competitive with close finishes and even splits at the bottom gate. A fifth race was attempted, however this was called off due to thick fog making navigation in an FJ unreasonable. In the end it was the Rams taking 1st place, with the Northeastern Huskies following just one point behind in 2nd and BU rounding out the podium in 3rd.
Well done to all competitors for sticking it out in trying conditions, and a special thanks to the RC support team for making it all happen. We wish everyone luck on their final exams.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
