Day one of the Prosser Trophy saw a light southeasterly that surged in and out over the course of the day ranging from zero to eight knots. Twenty seven races were completed and no protests were filed.
Day two saw zero wind as the teams arrived to Navy forcing the regatta to postpone ashore until 1130. Racing began around noon in a shifty northerly ranging from three to nine knots. Two thirds of the races in Round Robin Two were completed before the wind shifted and died around 1515. At that point, it was determined that there was not enough time to complete the second round robin before the 1600 cut off. The results of the partial second round robin were removed and the final results reverted to the single round robin. Thank you to our team of umpires: Sandy Grosvenor, Billy Martin, Hunter Anderson, Fletcher Simms, Lilla Salvesen, and Nick Salvesen. Congratulations to the home team Navy Midshipmen for winning the 2025 Prosser Trophy and earning a berth to the Team Race National Championship!
