The "Festival of wahine sailing" started right on time and was treated with Hawaiiʻs beautiful trade winds 15-17 knts. The regatta was run by wahine for wahine having many of college sailing alums with notables PRO Molly OʻBryan Vandemoer, Jennifer Warnock Gillete and Rene Decurtis Corpuz-Layne. 6 great races were run in both A and B division by 3:30 pm and the trades ramping up to 20 plus the decision was made to safely finish for the day. In UH sailing tradition a wonderful BBQ was provided and cooked for all by the UH sailors. Wonderful day of sailing!! The talk story with the Hawaii wahine sailing legends was postponed to Sunday morning at 9am.
Sunday was greeted by beautiful Hawaii weather sunny with trades blowing 10-15 kts. Things started out at 9am with Hawaiian style "talk story" with UH sailing legends Molly OʻBryan Vandemoer, Jennifer Warnock Gillete and Rene Decurtis Corpuz-Layne. Great panel discussion with good questions from the audience as the three spoke about sailing in their journey of life. The racing began on time at 10:30am and the trades winds again did not disappoint and began ramping up to 20 plus by 12pm. Great race watching from the seawall in the Keʻehi Lagoon. Racing was concluded with a round robin completed by 1pm. Awards were coconuts that were painted beautifully by the UH team. Sailors were happily given time to head for the beach, hiking trails to waterfalls and the always wonderful Kaneohe Bay Sandbar before heading to the airport. The "Festival of wahine sailing" was a wonderful success. Thanks again to the awesome showing of college sailing alums that turned out to help make the regatta run by women for women run smoothly. Congrats for to Stanford and UH for earning the PCCSC berths to the college nationals at St. Marys College in MD.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
