Open Eastern Semi Finals

Summary

Tuesday, May 27:

It was a cloudy day with light Easterly winds that approached 10 knots at its peak, but was mostly a lot lighter. W-3's and W-4's were sailed and there were no protests or breakdowns. One race was abandoned as the breeze did not cooperate.

PRO Eric Reitinger did an excellent job keeping the course square with help from alums Stan "The Man" Hyatt & Chase Quinn along with the Seahawks.

Photos and video recap of the day will be posted on Collegesailing.org.

Wednesday, May 28:

We had the absolute classic regatta conditions. . . "It's never like this here"! A whole lot of rain and exceptionally close racing in East/Northeasterly breezes of 5-12 knots. Going into the last B division set, there were 8 teams realistically vying for 5 berths to the championship finals.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
