Mike Horn Team Race

After a half hour delay on land while the wind filled in, Maine Maritime, UMass Amherst, McGill and Amherst set out on Smith Cove in a shifty 7-10 knot northerly to complete three round-robins. For many of the sailors in attendance it was their first team race regatta and the excitement was apparent.
