The regatta was hosted by Bay Access Sailing Foundation at Lakewood Yacht Club (LYC) in Seabrook, TX on Clear Lake. The air temperature was 75 degrees at the start of the races reaching a high of 82. Wind conditions for sailing were sporty with winds from the south at about 17 kts with gusts up to 25 kts. Conditions remained the same throughout the day. Racing commenced at 1015 and concluded at 1600 for the day with both fleets completing 8 races. Thanks to all of the LYC members and administrators that made the day a success.
Day 2 of racing was postponed until about 0930 when visibility improved enough for RC to see the course clearly. The wind was light from the East at 4 kts with a countering 1 kt current ebbing making for troublesome starts for the A fleet. The wind slowly, but steadily grew to 7 kts by the afternoon as the ebbing current slackened. One rotation for race 9 was completed before visibility was severely reduced postponing race 10 until 1145. Racing concluded for the day at 1300. A special thanks to the LYC members Larry (PRO) and Marie Wise (Vice Commodore), Shannon Galway (RC boat operator, time keeper, and score keeper), and Elaina Polsen (LYC POC) for organizing and running a successful event.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
