Day one racing started around 11. The wind built throughout the day with an early switch to come from the south. While it was good racing for some, conditions proved difficult for sailors and markset with winds gusting up to 21 kts, resulting in 10+ capsizes and drifting marks. Three functional races were completed before returning to land around 3 pm.
Day two racing started around 10 with a light breeze from the north. Swinging to the south around midday, it continued to build up to 16kts before last start. Ending with six races per division, we had the full 21 boats on the line on Sunday. Less capsizes this day! Thank you to PRO Aidan Boylan, the Arizona Yacht Club for helping with Race Committee, markset, and the rotation pontoon boats, and to everyone who came out to sail in the desert with us. Congratulations to UC Santa Cruz for winning Cactus Cup!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
