Bryson Women's Fleet Race

Summary

Saturday, February 15:

The Redwood Creek, again, reminded us all to appreciate conditions later in the Spring- or that amazing Saturday of the McIntyre. Sailors congregated for the Bryson Women's and Top-9 were greeted Saturday morning by their own reflection as they looked to launch their boats for the day. Several postponements were posted before sailors launched around 1:15.

Many races were started and called back, after 4 hours of racing, two races were sailed in very marginal conditions. However, as always the PCCSC vibes remained high throughout. Hoping to get more racing tomorrow.

Sunday, February 16:

Conditions were sailable on time for Sunday's racing at the Bryson Women's and Top-9. Conditions ranged from four knots to 7 knots from the North and NNW- straight down the creek for the majority of racing. The RC had to adjust the course a couple times with the help of mark boat, Tommy Sitzmann '27 and Reade Decker '27. But for the most part conditions were steady. Several protests were filed at the RC boat but none were executed upon on land. 7 races were sailed, combined division, at both events, staggered like your typical A/B pacing. Thank you everyone for coming and for good racing.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
