Racing started in light northerly breeze that slowly died, causing multiple recalls and finally a postponement on shore until the afternoon. As the wind filled in from the west, racing resumed and continued, completing round 1 and starting round 2. Racing set to resume tomorrow morning to complete round 2.
One breakdown request was heard and denied in the morning. Racing began at 1030 in light north westerly breeze and a strong incoming tide. Racing was delayed a few times and it was determined that round 2 could not be completed by the cutoff time. Races in round 2 were used for a top 4. The breeze filled in at 1400 for a final sail off between St. Mary's and Tufts to break the top 4 tie. Congratulations to St. Mary's for their win in the sail off and regatta. Thank you to all the teams who came to sail with us and to the Washington College sailors on race committee and mark boats.
