The day began cold, but with a good, steady breeze of around 8 knots from the Northwest. The wind remained consistent for most of the day, a rarity for Lake Murray. After completing three races in each fleet, the rotation was switched to sets of two, and then to one as the wind started to die down.
Congratulations to the University of North Carolina, University of North Carolina Wilmington, and Clemson University for securing podium positions. Thanks are due to all the teams that participated. Lastly, a big thank you to the Columbia Sailing Club for hosting us and providing amazing food.
