The event started late today due to glassy conditions in the morning. Wind filled in from the south at noon and racing commenced shortly after. The breeze built throughout the day, with gusty and shifty conditions making for a technically challenging but stellar day of racing. 10 races for each fleet were accomplished, constituting two full round robins allowing for the regatta to be completed in one day. Congratulations to both the Honey Badgers for taking home the win and Northwestern and Michigan for taking second and third respectively.
A huge thank you to our PRO, Doug Wake for running a great event. Also, thanks to our on the water judges Mike Kaspar and John Porter, as well as our virtual protest committee of Steve Dolan and Bruce Martinson.
No racing occurred due to completion of regatta.
