The first day of the Garner Tullis brought light air from a variety of directions from North, Northeast, East, South, Southeast. The Race Committee did a fantastic job adjusting the course as needed. We were able to complete Round 1 and begin Round 2 getting through race 32.
The second day brought what seemed to be a more promising easterly that held at 6-8 knots and slowly died off to about 3. The breeze picked back up to finish the second round to a strong 10 knots.
Round 2 was able to be completed, but unfortunately there was not enough time remaining for an attempt at Round 3.
Thank you to all the teams who made it out for a great event on Lake Pontchartrain!
A big thank you to the Tulane student athletes, alumni, and staff that came out to support this year’s event!
