It was a great day for sailing on the Charles. There was a nice gradient easterly ranging in velocity from 4 to 6 kts. All courses were W-4. No protests were filed. Many thanks to Tom Duggan and Tom Kirk for running the races. We are very lucky to have such amazing volunteers.
Warm temps in the 80's and sunny skies meant a long wait for wind. The fleet postponed ashore until about 1:30pm when the wind finally stabilized enough from the SW to set a course.
Once racing began, we were able to sail 5 races in each division with race 17b starting at 4:59pm before the 5:00 pm cutoff.
Congratulations to the top nine teams that will return to MIT for the finals Wednesday and Thursday.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
