Great conditions on the Ashley River today. Breeze was 8-12 knots all day out of the W shifting WSW towards the end of racing. We had a strong cross current flood tide to begin the day until our lunch break around noon, then a strong cross current ebb to end the day. There was some close racing throughout the day, but Clemson walked away with the win with superior starts, communication, boat speed and boat handling. Great tune-up event for both teams, which are competing at SAISA Open Team Race Champs at CofC next weekend. Thank you to Clemson for making the trip down and all the Citadel cadets who helped with scores, moving marks and rotations.
