With the forecast calling for puffs over 30 all morning we pushed the report time back to 1PM. When teams arrived we were greeted with a strong westerly of 15-18 with puffs into the low 20's. We were able to sail for the rest of the day and complete round one with the wind continuing to die off down to 10-12 with puffs around 15.
On Sunday we showed up to a building southerly and got our first race off at 9:30. We were able to finish the second round before the breeze started to die. The breeze promptly filled back in from the west as we started the final four. Congratulations to Navy for winning the 2023 Tom Noble Team Race.
