Chilly but windy day on the St. Mary's River with NW breeze that started at 20+ and diminished after 1pm ending the day with under 8 knots. Round 1 completed with a sail off between UPenn and Tulane for the final gold round berth, which went to the Quakers. A couple tiller universals were replaced along with a couple jib springs. A few notable capsizes and one comeback win after a classic Harvard/Yale battle: Notable because a Yale skipper had to swim to get back to her boat after falling overboard.
Wind never filled. No racing. Fortunately, we had an excellent test of skill on Sat. Thanks to all the awesome umpires and regatta volunteers who help to make ICSA great.
