A full day of team racing on the St. Mary's. The day ended with race 62 as the breeze died and race 63 was abandoned. Thanks to a tremendous group of umpires working with PRO Stan The Man Hyatt and finish boat Sophie Taczak racing continued despite very unstable conditions that required a seemingly endless amount of course adjustment to keep racing fair.
Windy and cold day. After race 79 the regatta management team faced the reality that the round of 16 could not be completed. As the field had been pre-seeded into two groups of eight, the top four from each group advanced to a gold (420) and bottom four to a silver (FJ) round along with a few sail offs for trophy spots or MAISA ranking berths. Group A: Harvard 7 Brown 6 Navy 4 UPenn 4 FRD 3 HWS 2 COR 2 KP 0 Group B: Yale 6 SMC 6 GTN 6 CofC 4 GW 2 ODU 2 NYM 0 Huge thanks to all the volunteers who helped make this event possible. Special thanks to Ian Burman who helped us manage all the possibilities on Techscore to make sure the maximum racing occurred for participants.
