Unfortunately severe weather that was forecast to move through the area prevented us from safely getting any races in.
The regatta will begin tomorrow morning, and we look forward to still completing the entire format.
Thanks to all the teams for their patience today.
Racing got underway with Sunny skies, big breeze, and some really big waves.
A NW breeze of 18-23 knots built up a large sea state with waves in the 3-6' range after yesterday's front moved through.
In all, 3 Round Robins were able to be completed as the breeze tapered slightly to 16-20 knots by mid-afternoon.
The final races were completed around 1:30pm.
A huge thank you to Cazzie Cutting, St. Mary’s ‘22 and Dodge Rees, College of Charleston ‘16 for serving as our umpires for this event.
Great racing by all of the teams competing, and congrats to the Tulane Green Wave on the victory.
