Day 1 of the Semifinals saw a strong start to the event with winds from the North at 10-12 knots. The sailors were excited to get started. With the current running into the wind the fleet forced a general recall. Once the I flag was flying the fleet found its groove and racing got underway. As racing moved into the afternoon with a forecast for the wind to shift to the south east, we saw the wind become unstable during race 4. This caused the postponement of the Western Division and the abandonment of the race for the Eastern Division. With unstable conditions the fleets took a short postponement ashore to wait for the southerly. The fleets returned to the course to finish the set and were able to complete another set of races bringing the series to 6 races A & B for the Eastern and Western Divisions. -Amanda Clark, PRO
Day 2 of the Semifinals started with glassy conditions and a postponement ashore. Teams passed the time with games and socializing, trying to minimize baking in the sun. Conditions remained unchanged until 2:30 when the wind started to filter to the race course. The fleet sailed out at 2:45. Races 7 and 8 for A and B division of the Eastern and Western series were sailed in an increasing southerly breeze. Racing was tight with only a minute separating first from last. With a time limit of 5 pm approaching, the final races in B division were extended to a W5 course. Sailors enjoyed full hiking conditions to close out the semifinal series. -Amanda Clark, PRO

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
