Great racing at the Brown Team Race Invite on day one in FJs and 420s. A very shifty WNW breeze ranging between 2 and 12 knots with some downtime for dying breeze and major shifts. A nice seabreeze of 10-12 knots filled in at around 4pm for the last few flights. One round robin was completed and 3 DSQ's were given. A huge thanks to coaches for hearing protests. Hoping to get another full round robin of all 9 teams in today and a Gold final round. 10am first race.
Another great day of team racing! It was more frostbite like conditions today with tewps in the upper 20's with the windchill and lots of big puffs. Winds were mainly from the WNW between 10-20 knots with a few bigger puffs and some big lulls. Another full round robin was completed for 72 total races and 16 races for each of the nine teams. One more DSQ was given and great thanks to coaches Emma Montgomery (Brown), Steve Pelissier (Salve), Jack Reiter (RWU), and Karl Ziegler (Conn) for hearing them and for helping on the water throughout the weekend. Thanks as well to all of the Brown sailors who helped out. Congrats to Brown Bears 1 on the win with a 15-1 record.
