Port Jefferson delivered a beautiful day for sailing! A bit chilly in the morning, but bright sun and a Northwesterly breeze that persistently shifted West throughout the day made for great racing. As the breeze went West, the shifts became more widespread and kept everyone on their toes trying to connect the dots. We were able to get in 8 solid races per division and decided to finish the regatta on Saturday. Congratulations to Webb on the win! Thank you to all of the teams for coming and sailing with us and thank you to all of the SBU Sailing Alumni and current team members for helping run the event! Also thank you to Port Jefferson Yacht Club for the use of their facilities.
