The wind picked up from the West as races got going, leading to a beautiful, sunny, day of heavy wind sailing. Thank you Race Committee for facilitating a fun first day of Rainier Cup!
The day started with a strong breeze coming from the East but died while A fleet was finishing their second race. We postponed on shore enjoying the warm weather until ending the day and packing up at 1pm. Thank you to all of the schools that lent their boats and the all of the teams for driving such a long way. We hope to see you next year!
