Day one of the 2022 Prosser Trophy began with a west wind which forced the regatta to move all the way to Carr Cove. 38 races were completed in a shifty fickle breeze. Tomorrow the plan is to complete the intended format by finishing the second and third round robins.
Day two of the 2022 MAISA Team Race Championship for the Captain Joe Prosser Trophy delivered beautiful conditions, a 10-15 knot NW wind straight down the river. Round robin two was finished at 1230, which did not leave enough time to complete a third round robin of all teams, so a top 6 was sailed. The top 6 round was easily completed. Thank you to our umpires Jeff Borland, Vicki Sodaro, Doc Sullivan, Sandy Grosvenor, Bill Cook, Ian Morgan, Russ O'Reilly and Gavin O'Hare, and our PRO Phil Youngberg. Congratulations to the home team for winning the Captain Joe Prosser Trophy and earning MAISA's automatic berth to the National Championship!
