The first spring annual PCCSC Women's Team Race Champs began with a whimper as the Redwood Creek was greeted sailors with no wind. After thirty minutes of waiting, the breeze started tip-toeing down from the bay. The group hit the water and completed a single round robin in two and a half hours before the wind decided that was enough.
After 21 races sailed between the 7 teams present, Stanford wins with a 6-0 record. University of Hawaii finished second with a 5-1 record (Go Bows!) and the University of Washington Huskies finished 3rd with a 4-2 score.
Big thanks to Jack Parkin, Mathew Hogan and Lauren Taylor for exclusively running RC. We couldn't have done it without them. Thank you to Andy Johnson and Brad Schaupeter for helping with rotation and running the alternates boats.
