The day started with light west to northwest winds at about 5-8 knots. Boats were on the water as planned, and after some effort to anchor the R/C boat in a strong current racing began at about 11:15.
The first set of races had westerly winds at about 10 knots. After the first rotation, the boats returned to winds that had veered slightly to the NW and speeds increased to about 14-16 knots. We sailed another two races in building conditions. By the end of the second set the winds were gusting to about 20 knots, and when the sailors returned to shore for rotations it was decided that we had had enough for the day.
Congratulations to the UCF Knights A division for their efforts, but the ERAU Eagles were able to win with both divisions combined. Special thanks to the Halifax Sailing Association for helping to host our event. Also, thanks to all who volunteered, both on and off the water. Your help was greatly appreciated!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
