Great sailing conditions on the Potomac! SSE winds 10-15mph made for fantastic racing at the Georgetown/GW Team Race. 2 full round robins were sailed and the racing was close and competitive. One more round robin awaits tomorrow.
Another great day of sailing on the Potomac. The forecast 20 plus mph winds didn’t come in until the racing was over. The last round robin was sailed in a SSW wind of 10-20mph and was a little shiftier than the day before. Once again the racing was close. Congrats to Georgetown University and the US Naval Academy for winning the Georgetown and GW team races respectively.
Many thanks to the GW and Georgetown undergrads who helped with race management.
Thanks also to our umpires Mike O’Bryan, Tyler Haskell, Aitana Mendiguren, Nick Floyd, Ian Morgan, Marley Mais and Gwynie Dunlevy.
