The 18 teams arrived at USMMA-KP to Northerly winds and sunny skies. Four races in A & B Divisions were completed in winds 4-10 knots, and one gust of 16 knots, before winds got really fickle and a few races were abandoned. Lunch break was taken from 1315 - 1400. The fleet returned to Little Neck Bay at 1400, only to abandon an attempted race. The fleet returned to shore around 1500 and there was no further racing due to lack of wind.
Thank you to our judges Rich Gold, Tony Weiner and Matt Cormack. No protests were filed and there were no breakdowns.
Racing resumes tomorrow at 1000. -Rick Dominique, PRO
Races 5 A/B through 9 A/B were held in north-northeasterly winds of 3 to 6 knots. As the winds became more fickle, a well timed lunch break ashore was called at 1230. During this break, the winds shifted to the south and began to fill in. Racing resumed at 1415 and races 5 A/B through 13 A/B were held in the southerly winds of 4 to 8 knots. There were no protests and no breakdowns. Congratulations to the USNA Midshipmen on the regatta win! Thank you to our on-the-water judges Tony Weiner, Matt Cormack and Tom Conlin and as always, our USMMA midshipmen who gave up their weekend liberty and study time to help run the event!
The MAISA Conference Awards were held after racing. Congratulations to all the winners!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
