The 17 teams arrived at KP to a light North-easterly wind of 3-6 knots. 6 races were sailed each division in shifty conditions and strong up-course current. At the conclusion of the lunch break, the breeze shifted to the South, but died in the middle of race 7A, with 7B being abandoned due to the fleet not being able to get off the starting line due to the adverse current. After about 30 minutes, the breeze built a bit, but was still shifting 20 degrees. Racing concluded around 1800, with 10 races in both A and B divisions. Tomorrow, A-Division will race FJs and B-Division will race Z420s. - PRO Rick Dominique
Today goes down as a "weird one" by all who've sailed at KP. The (rarely) forecast North-easterly held for races 11A-B Through 13A-B. When that died, we took a brief shore break while an un-forecasted South-easterly (also rare) filled. Racing resumed in the 6-16 knot South-easterly and a full 17-race regatta was completed before 3pm. Two protests were filed, resulting in two DSQs.
Thank you as always to the USMMA Sailing Team midshipmen that gave up their weekend liberty to work Race Committee, and also thanks to Woody Greenberg, our judge, and to Lexi Pline and Jack Rachek for their awesome photography.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
