Snow on the ground, yet spring time was in the air. Spring Mixer time that is! Seven SAISA teams gathered at Lake Crabtree on a crisp February Saturday morning for some exciting sailboat racing. The breeze was light but only a brief wind delay was experienced while the RC delivered a full day of quality races. Early in the day, the home-team NC State Wolfpack and the visiting Clemson Tigers found the top of the leaderboard during the first rotation, but the also-home-team Duke's B-division skipper and crews dominated their fleet and brought the Blue Devils into a fierce battle for the podium with Clemson from the start of the second rotation until the very last race. Elsewhere in the fleet, the UNC Tarheels traded barbs with NC State for the final podium spot, a spot won by the Wolfpack on a tie breaker from the final race. Georgia, Georgia Tech, and East Carolina were competitive throughout the day and found high points in several races. By the end of the afternoon, it was sunny and warm, while hospitality and all-around Corinthian competitive spirit made the day complete at the 2020 SAISA Spring Mixer.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
