Racing commenced in 18-22 NW with 2'-3' chop in the Elizabeth River off of ODU. The fleet sailed 4 races before a lunch break. They went back out for 2 more before postponing on shore. Some sailors went swimming and everyone was a bit chilly. 6 races were completed with 4 more tomorrow to finis the rotation. 9am report time with 4 fleet races and 1 round of random teams team racing is planned for tomorrow.
One protest was heard, resulting in a Charleston DSQ.
Racing began at 9:45 at 5-7 knots from the WNW. 4 Races were completed in a dying breeze that shifted to the NNW. Not enough breeze to do the team race round.
