Hello Sailors! It was tough sledding on the River Thames today. We started in a NW breeze that went West @ 5-25knts. The RC decided to take an hour break to see if the West breeze would go back to the NW. We started round 2 in a NW breeze 18-25. As it shifted back to the west the RC postponed racing for the day. Thanks to Bob Lafranz and John Moulthrop for Umpiring today. We will continue with round 2 and try to get in Rounds 3 and 4 before the 430 cutoff.
Hello Sailors!
What a great do to Sail on the Thames river! The day started with a light WNW Breeze, that slowly went West and died . The RC decided to take a lunch break and hoped for a Seabreeze. It came roaring in and we where off to the races. We finished round 3 and rolled right into round 4. Big Thank you to Cooper Nefsky for being the PRO this weekend and to John Moulthorp and Bob Lafranze for Umpiring. Congrats to the Connectiucut College Camels and the University of Rhode Island Rams for quailifying for the Team Race New England Champiohsip on April 6-7 at Connecticut College. Go Camles!
