Strong Winds forced the RC to move the course inside the breakwater in LA/Long Beach. 3 Races were sailed.
Wind decreased, but swell remained outside which made the sailing challenging. Cal Maritime who began the day leading, had a few rough races and allowed College of Charleston to take the top position at the end of 5 races
The day began with light breeze and an hour and a half postponement. Once the breeze came to a steady 6 Knots, racing resumed. Cal maritime was second in the first race with Charleston a distant 8th which closed the gap. Going into the second race Charleston had 6 point lead, and went on to win the race with Cal Maritime finishing 2nd
