When the sailors arrived there was no wind and we postponed ashore until 11:30, when a 3-5 knot SE breeze filled. It was foggy at first and the marks were difficult to see. At one point visibility went down to around 100 yards and we had to go back to shore for a brief delay. The fog lifted and we were able to complete 8 races per division. One protest was heard, resulting in a DSQ. Thanks to Alan Capellin and Charles Higgins for helping to hear the protest.
Sunday morning was very foggy and we were delayed until 1200. Once the fog lifted, we had a nice SSW 8-12 knot breeze and we were able to get in 6 more races per division before the 3 PM cutoff. One protest was filed after racing, but the other competitor retired, negating the need for a hearing. Congratulations to the Navy Midshipmen for winning the 2019 Navy Spring Regatta!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
