It was beautiful day of sailing on the Severn River. We had sunny skies, temperatures in the 50s and winds from the NW at 12-22 knots. PRO Gavin O'Hare, Logan Hearn and the RC team did a terrific job getting off races and we finished race 90 by 5 PM. A huge thanks to our ChUmp Rob Overton and his team of Doc Sullivan, Larry Sill, Richard Born, Derick Lynch, Russ O'Reilly, Charlie Arms, Jeff Woodard, Carol Robinson, Kai Friesecke and Gina Henderson for making great calls all day.
On Sunday morning, we had a really nice 6-15 knot WNW breeze and we were able to finish the round robin by noon. We started final 4 and 5-10 rounds, but the breeze faded hard and both rounds were abandoned. Jeff Simon, Bill Jorch and Jake Doyle joined the umpire team today and Grant Garcia and Annabelle and Mike O'Bryan joined the RC. Congratulations to Yale for winning the 2019 Graham Hall Team Race.
