Today’s Central Series 2 at Mass Maritime Academy was a blustery one! Breeze varied from 3-35kts with a steadier average of 20kts from the nnw. As suggested by the UNH coach, we utilized the butterfly course to reduce downwind capsizes. Thanks to assistant PRO cadet Philip Wright ‘21...
There was an incident with a visiting sailors knee. EMT on site was able to handle the injury along with local team. One boat was damaged in collision. The regatta was called off at about 2:15pm to prevent further injury to sailors and boats.
