Saturday was just a nasty day all round! Rain, wind and fog made for some interesting racing. 3 longer races (35-40 min) were sailed in the morning with Southerly winds ranging from 14-18 knots and heavy downpour at times. The J-70's were set up with reefed mains. After lunch, we shook out the reefs and 5 more races (25-20 min) were sailed in shiftier SE-S-SW winds ranging from 8-12 knots. Coast Guard 1 was solid throughout the day, winning four races and is 6 points ahead of URI.
No wind on Sunday and lots of current! Congratulations to Coast Guard 1 for winning the 2018 J-70 Spring Open!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
