William and Mary Spring Open 2018

Day one of the William and Mary spring open brought varying conditions. Both level and direction of pressure changed throughout the day. Changes in wind resulted in different courses being set for each race. Races where briefly postponed during the middle of the day. Current played a major factor in racing resulting in one general recall. Due to varying wind conditions during one regatta several teams had to be finished in place. Racing concluded at 15:30.

Day two brought heavier wind than day one. The first race of the day saw wind between 15 and 20 knots. Conditions oscillated throughout the day, but due to frequency of oscillations only one course was set for the day. Many thanks to the Kingsmill Yacht Club and its members for all their help throughout the regatta. Races concluded at 14:30.
